Custom Hats
Each hat is unique. From felt material, to color, to shape, each hat is designed with one goal in mind: to be your perfect hat.
Step 1: Felt
First, we start by picking your felt! There are two things to consider: material and weight. We offer Beaver, Nutria, Rabbit and blended felts in dress and western weights.
100% Western Weight Beaver: $500
Beaver is the cream of the crop of felt. It’s naturally water-repellant and will still hold its quality 100 years from now. Western weight means it’s a heavier, thicker and stiffer material and will hold any crown or brim shape. Whether you want a hat that’ll last years of weathering water, sweat and dirt or a hat that’ll look kick ass when going out on the town, this is the material for you.
100% Western Weight Nutria: $400
The Nutria is the cousin to the Beaver and a great sustainable alternative material that’s still water-resistant and long-lasting.
100% Western & Dress Weight Rabbit: $350
Rabbit is a great quality material with a soft finish. Dress weight means it’s a lighter, more flexible material. If you want a more casual hat to wear every day, this is the material for you.
Western Weight Beaver/Rabbit Blend: Price Varies
Depending on what our suppliers have in stock, we can provide felts that are blends of rabbit and beaver. Sometimes it’s 4% Beaver/96% Rabbit, other times it’s 50% Beaver/50% Rabbit. If you’re interested in this option, please reach out to see what blend we’re currently offering.
Step 2: Color
Time to select the color of your felt!
We’re currently in the process of uploading our color swatches onto our website. Thanks for being patient with us while we do this!
Step 3: Shape
Next, we’ll select a crown and brim size and shape.

Step 4: Trim
This is the final step in making your hat totally unique!
We can add pretty much anything you like to it. Ribbon, bandanas, scarves, leather, beads, feathers, arrowheads, etc. We have a wide variety of options to choose from but if you have something specific you’d like to add, we can find a way to incorporate it into your hat.

Step 6: Pay Your Deposit
You’ll pay a non-refundable deposit which goes towards the total cost of your hat. Once received, you’ll be added to the queue! The average wait time for a custom hat is 1 month however, it may be longer depending on my suppliers and supply chain issues.
